Preparing for the Future in Uncertain Times

We live in uncertain times. Prolonged times of uncertainty and stress are a recipe for anxiety. As bad as the current state of the world may seem, uncertain times are not unusual. 

In Luke 21:5-19, Jesus warns his disciples that difficult times are on the horizon. Jesus says, "And when you hear of wars and tumults, do not be terrified, for these things must first take place, but the end will not be at once." Jesus wasn't teaching His disciples how to avoid tribulation or that they would be spared suffering. Jesus was preparing His disciples for how to stay on mission during tribulation. 

The future may seem uncertain but God's providential hand is working and His Kingdom will not be defeated. Are you prepared for the future?
