Can God Restore from Ruin?

Our lives are full of challenges and circumstances we must navigate, often beyond our control. We can choose to do it our way or follow God's wisdom. We are all free to make our own choices in life; yet we are not free to choose the consequences of our decisions.

When we live outside of God's ways, we can really make a mess of our lives. We seldom realize the seeds of destruction we have sown in our lives, marriages, children, and other relationships, until it seems it is too late. When we awake to the ruin in our lives it seems beyond repair.

Can God truly bring restoration in the midst of ruin? The book of Ezra is a great example of a people who had lost everything; yet the promises of God remained as their only hope. Ezra is the record of God bringing His people on the difficult but glorious road from ruin to restoration.
