In 1 John 2:1-2, we are assured that Jesus death on the cross has absorbed the wrath of God that we as sinners deserve. We understand that Jesus death was for everyone but only those who repent and place their faith in Jesus for their salvation have the assurance that they are forgiven. This means that we have a moral responsibility to share this news with the world.
